Dave and I went to Chiefs again, and the visit was as good as the first time we went. We tried different meals, and even got free dessert since we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. It was delightful!

We may have to try Chief’s again, just in case our very poor first experience there was just an off night. The food, the service and the atmosphere were all hugely substandard, though. The atmosphere was ruined by drunks and that stupid diner-type dinger that goes off whenever people walk in, both of them being things that management could control.

Hi Barry,
Sorry to make your mouth water, but you do have your share of good restaurants in Toronto. And when it comes to fish, nothing beats The Flying Fish (in Whitby?). Even if it is a greasy spoon diner, their halibut is out of this world, comparable to The Klondike Rib & Salmon here in Whitehorse.
