Don’t kid yourself, just because I posted a couple of entries from my writing class doesn’t mean anything. Like I said, my blog is usually that…I write as I think. lol Anyway, doesn’t matter, unless of course I was looking for a huge audience – NOT. Just having fun and connecting with people.

Well, I fond that the blog is an easy place to be open, but I am an open book anyway… I have my story to tell at some point, but I don’t want to be too open and offend a certain person .. so i will have to write carefully.

i am a terrible writer, sadly i write as i think … unlike yours x

It’s funny you say that Moon, because when I read other people’s writing, I have the same reaction. Perhaps we don’t give ourselves enough credit. Also, I find that when blogging, it’s pretty much my first draft that ends up on the web. I’m thinking that the regular practice of at least writing, along with a class scattered here and there, my “first drafts” will get better.
Also, I find it difficult to be open on the web. Oh, I have lots to say, but I’m reluctant at times about putting stuff out there for everyone to see, for ever and ever. I admire those who are so open, like Fawn.

It’s facinating to me to hear how other grew up, what was normal and happy for one, is a dissaster for another … more I hear myself saying, tell us more !

Hey Fawn, thanks for your kind words. Oh, and it wasn’t exactly spilled milk
I learned so so much in that class. Like I said, it was my first real writing class (aside from writing papers and the like), so everything I learned was new. I hope to be able to do it again some time, because I ended up auditing the class due to too many obligations, and unfortunately, that means less writing. It was taught by Jerome Stueart, and I hear he’s teaching a couple more classes this fall. I think it’s novel writing..not sure though.

Even before you mentioned that this was an assignment, I was ready to click over to say what a beautifully crafted and evocative piece this is. I can see you in that depressing crib, feel the relief of having the kind of mother who doesn’t get angry over “spilled milk, and really experience the disappointment at not seeing Santa at the door.
