Well, my proper name, no I wasn't christened Moon, leads me to have been called the female version, I guess I was lucky never to react, and most people always used Moon ! We are very lucky to live in a mostly tolerant society where mixed genders etc are accepted, and so it should be !

Ivan was here?!! Damn it! I would have gone to the festival if I'd known. I met Ivan at the Young Author's Conference last year (or was it two years ago?) and found my new favourite writer. If you get a chance, get a copy of his CD. After hearing the stories read aloud, I can't ever read them without Ivan's voice in my head.

Indeed it is a slow fix. I have never understood why gender needs to be an issue upon which people are divided and innocents isolated, it says nothing about the person inside. We are 'who' we are, not what gender we are or into which societal box others think we should fit.
