Though I haven't been around dog teams, other than watching them during the <a href="http://www.yukonquest.com/" rel="nofollow">Yukon Quest</a>, it's obvious that working with them is quite a physical and year-round job. Anyway, I'm part of a community of bloggers here called Urban Yukon, and some of the community members have sled dogs, like <a href="http://puppydogsanddancingpaws.blogspot.com/" rel="nofollow">Heather</a>, <a href="http://wanderingspiritskennels.blogspot.com/" rel="nofollow">TamaraLyn</a>, & <a href="http://keeponsledding.blogspot.com/" rel="nofollow">Stacie</a>. I'm hoping that they have connections to help Renaud out. What an experience he'll have if someone picks him up. Perhaps he could learn in exchange for accommodation and meals. That's what Clare is doing in Spain at the moment. She gets free jumping lessons and accommodation in return for yard work, working young horses and taking trail rides! Cool way to see the world. Enterprising young bloke.
