Hi Ho, Hi Ho, it’s off to work, he goes…
January 7, 2009 at 9:08 pm (Livin' North of 60°)
Despite frigid temperatures hovering between -35 and -40 degrees Celcius, my honey still walks to and from work every day. We live in Arkell and he works at the College, which represents a 5km walk each way. Here he is just getting home from work today:

Davey comes home
He’s a brave soul!

Yes he is – almost as brave as Mr. DBM going out in the car in all the snow we had here. Well, have you seen the way people drive here in the snow, with their all season radials?

But don’t you live in that part of Canada where people rarely see a snowflake? Maybe that explains the driving. lol

Hi Carole, I can sure relate to this one! I cycle into town every day from Takhini, and I’m getting pretty used to having large ice-balls on my eyelashes. It’s fun in the minus twenties, but not so much fun when it drops into the minus thirties and forties. Good for your honey, keeping in the habit of walking despite this long cold snap.
(And thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting!)

Hmmmm…..I think perhaps his brain got frozen. Really! You couldn’t pay me enough to walk to work in that weather!

Haha . .I wish I’d seen this earlier in the week when our temperatures saw us melting like the Wicked Witch of the West!
