Who is Carole?
The Yukon has been my home for 7 1/2 years now, and I can see myself living here for another fifty. This blog is wonderful way to keep family and friends back home in touch with what’s going on around me. Playing around with my camera also keeps me busy, so I’ll probably include a few pictures here and there.
Enjoy!

Congratulations! I wouldn’t know where to begin in creating my own blog. Love your home page poem. I’ll keep browsing. Cheers.

Carole: I am just so impressed with your site. I will add it to my favourites. You’re one talented lady.
Your photos are so lovely, and your words equally so.
I’ve always heard Alaska is a must-do destination, maybe someday I’ll get your uncle there.
Hugs Donna

Hey, Aunt Donna!
Thanks for visiting my blog… and for your kind words. Yes, if you and Uncle Noël come up, I’ll have much to show you! The Yukon and Alaska are definitely wonderful places to visit, and even better places to live (at least I can speak for the Yukon). The door is always open for you.

Awe, thanks Tiffany. Everyone else, meet my cousin Tiffany, who I last saw in July 2007 at my brother’s wedding. Gorgeous young lady, with a great sense of humour.
Hey Nicholle…such kind words. Today was very exciting, but a little nerve-wracking too. I didn’t have any teaching today, but I met the students, and they seem like a good bunch. I was busy organizing some more, which probably won’t ever end, I don’t know. lol

Oh carole I am so proud of you. It’s nice to see that smile radiate. You’ve never stopped smilling. It’s refreshing!
Just wondering…where are all those yukon picture people keep talking about. I’m surfing your page and can’t get to them? …..Help!

Hi Carole,
Chip shared stories of all the lovely people he worked with. You were among them. I was looking at your pictures… Chip would have loved it there. I wish he’d visited you so he could see it. I hope I hear from you. I’d like to contact Travis too. All the best to you.

Hi Carol,
My wife and I have been seriously looking into relocating to the north from Southern Ontario to teach as a couple. The Yukon (hopefully Whitehorse or Dawson) is our first choice. Any pointers on getting a teaching job there.
Thanks, Love your blog
Ted
